O: Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith

Distances: 214l, nk. 5 ran.

After starting his season with a solid second at Gowran

running and had this race in safe keeping as the last

furlong loomed. He is a full-brother to last year’s shock

Gr.1 Grand Prix de Paris scorer Gallante and the capable

dual purpose runner Plinth. They are of the winning Crazy

Volume (Machiavellian), whose dam is the Listed (then)

Round Tower Stakes victrix Desert Ease (Green Desert).

She is the dam of eight winners, headed by the Gr.3 Orchid

Stakes-third Endless Expanse (Red Ransom) and the

Gr.3 Noblesse Stakes runner-up Unique Pose and the

Gr.3 C L Weld Park Stakes-third Easy Sunshine, both by

Sadler’s Wells. Desert Ease is a daughter of the Gr.2

Premio Legnano heroine Easy To Copy (Affirmed), whose

progeny are headed by the Gr.3 Tetrarch Stakes and Gr.3

Gladness Stakes winner Two-Twenty-Two (Fairy King).

Easy To Copy, who is also the grandam of the dual

American Gr.2 scorer Amira’s Prince, the Listed Platinum

Stakes winner Hen Night and the Gr.2 Beaumont Stakes

victor Dixieland Gold, is a full-sister to the American Gr.3

winner and Listed Debutante Stakes heroine Low Key

Affair, the Listed victrix Epicure’s Garden (dam of the

Gr.2 Blandford Stakes winner Lisieux Rose) and the Gr.1

Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Trusted Partner. The latter

foaled the Gr.1 Matriarch Stakes scorer Dress To Thrill
